This is the last report from the MDC for the season.  It will not be the MSIN's last report for the season but you may have a hard time finding our reports.  They will be posted on individual lake page as they come in.  Check this page again next spring we will be posting the MDC reports again when the start again in April.

Lake of the Ozarks (Bagnell Tailwater): 74 degrees, normal, dingy; catfish fair on shad & worms; black bass slow on worms, plastic worms & buzzbaits; white bass slow on worms, soft light-colored plastics & Rooster Tails; crappie slow on minnows, jigs & worms. (Report made on 9/24/2003)

Lake of the Ozarks (Glaize): 76 degrees, clear; black bass fair on plastic worms & buzzbaits; white bass slow on worms, soft white plastics & spinnerbaits; crappie fair on minnows & jigs; catfish fair on stinkbaits, cut bait & worms. (Report made on 9/24/2003)

Lake of the Ozarks (Gravois): 77 degrees, normal, clear; catfish & bluegill good; black bass, crappie & white bass fair. (Report made on 9/24/2003)

Lake of the Ozarks (Niangua): 76 degrees, normal, clear; bluegill good on nightcrawler pieces & crickets 2 to 4' deep; catfish good on nightcrawlers & shad; black bass fair on spinnerbaits 12-15' deep around brush early & late;  crappie good on minnows 10-20' deep; walleye slow on Shad Raps in spring fed areas. Lake of the Ozarks (Osage): 76 degrees, normal, clear; bluegill good on nightcrawler pieces & crickets 2 to 4' deep; catfish good on nightcrawlers & shad; black bass fair on spinnerbaits 12-15' deep around brush early & late; white bass slow on Rooster Tails; crappie good on minnows 10 to 20' deep; walleye slow on Shad Raps in spring fed areas.
