Todd Pyle and Bill Dennis top 39 boat field in the second Team Supreme tournament with a healthy 20.47 lb. 6 fish limit.

The stormy start to Sunday’s second Team Supreme Truman Division tournament could not slow down the fishing action. The team of Todd Pyle and Bill Dennis took first place on a fish heavy day with a six fish limit that weighed 20.47 lbs. The team of Robert Ponder and Bob Shepard was close behind with a limit of fish weighing 19.64 lbs. The third place team of David Ryan and Robb Barker had a limit of fish weighing 19.25 lbs. The team of Wallace Jenkins and Chuck Strohman only had five fish but one of them was an impressive looking 6.97 lb fish that took the big bass award for the day and their total weight was good enough for a fourth place finish with 18.06 lbs. The fifth place team of Ron and Rick Williams had a limit of fish weighing 17.83 lbs. In sixth was the team of Bill Murphy and Duane Linscott with a limit of fish weighing 16.89 lbs. In seventh place were Troy Lewhew and Randy Ridgeway with a limit of fish weighing 16.74 lbs. The second big bass award went to the team of Jim Bartlett and Pat Powers with a fish weighing 6.30 lbs.

Of the thirty-nine teams fourteen of them weighed a limit of six fish and another nine teams weighed in a total of five fish. There was a total of 169 fish, good looking healthy fish, caught and all were released in great shape. These numbers are impressive and show that some of the best fishermen in the area fish the Team Supreme Tournament Trails. It also shows that Truman Lake is still a premier bass fishery. Again I need to send out a special thanks to Sterett Creek Marina for letting Team Supreme use their facilities. Also thank you Tom for all the extra help setting up the tournament and working with us at the weigh-in, with out your help and the help of your staff the tournament would not run as smooth as it does. Also thank you to Midwest Bass Tournaments for the ability to post these results on their web page. And thank you to the fishermen who fish and support the Team Supreme Tournament Trails.

Next tournament is June 2nd  (6:30-3:30)
