I shot this ten point in Montgomery County, Missouri
with a bow on November 1, 2003. As I was heading to my stand
at 2:00, I saw him chasing a doe across a bean Field. Once they
entered a finger of woods, I snook my way to the opposite end
of the finger. As I was sneaking down the finger looking for
a shooting lane across, the doe came running past and saw me
but just stomped once and kept heading up the finger. I waited
a couple minutes for the buck to come, so then I grunted to
him. He instantly came running down the trail so I drew back
and grunted to him with my mouth to stop him in the shooting
lane. It was only about an eight yard shot and dropped him in
his tracks. |
