This guy was chasing 5 does around, I caught glimpses of them several times through the brush but he never got quite close enough. Finally one of the does decided to turn and walk past my stand, and luckily he followed.

Wanted to drop you a note with the picture of my 04 Rifle Buck that I harvested on the evening of November 13th. The buck's green gross score is 157 6/8" My 6 year old son Noah and I were hunting a field edge when this buck came into the field checking the does. One shot from my Weatherby 30-378 was all it took. It's my biggest buck so far, and the memories created that evening will last the rest of our lives. Take care -  Tim Gamm

I was excited to have my 13 year old (Cody) sit with me for the first time. We bagged a nice non-typical 15 pointer in Monroe County, MO (unit 15) at 2:30 in the afternoon on opening day. My nephew, Chad, also bagged the attached 9 point monster. We had a blast. Good luck to everyone! Terry Elsenrath St. Charles, MO

This is my first shot at building a deer cart.  You might say it is a prototype, but it really paid off getting the buck to the truck.  Just thought you might be interested.

I have been telling people that the cat was on the buck's back, so I shot the cat first then the buck, ha.  The 8-point will go 200 plus.  I am particularly proud, it was a 300 yard shot in the edge of a soybean field.  The .243 dropped him in his tracks...never knew what hit him.  When he put his head down to feed, I pegged him in the neck.  I shot off a bipod, laying on the ground.
