What is the Missouri Sportsmen Information Network? We are a regional information and entertainment web site dedicated to providing convenient information to anyone interested in outdoor recreation and tourism in Missouri. As we grow we will also be adding information about surounding states. Our purpose is to provide a meaningful web presence for businesses involved in outdoor recreation and tourism in Missouri. How do I get my business connected to the MSIN? If you have your own web site and your business is of interest to our targeted audience we will link to you for as little as $50.00 per year. We do require you to give us a link back and help us promote the Missouri Sportsmen Information Network by including our name in your other newspaper, radio, and television advertising. A small mention is all that is required like “A member of the www.mosportsmen.com information network.” Just contact us and we will answer any questions you may have. If you do not have a web site we can build one for you and house it in the pages of mosportsmen.com. Your web site will be linked where appropriate, guaranteed up and running for one year, and allow you to promote all aspects of your business to a targeted group of potential customers. You are encouraged to promote your web site in your current advertising and tell your customers they can see it at www.mosportsmen.com/yourname. We can also host your page and handle your own unique internet name www.yourname.com. We handle your name registration and "host" or serve your web site for you. We will then begin working with you to build your site. Rates
for web site construction and full involvement in the MSIN start at $370.00
for your front page, this includes all the basics you would find
on any web page like photos, graphics, text, search engine registration,
and links to your other pages or the pages of products you represent.
If there are any additional charges you will be warned of this. Additional
charges depend on page complexity, number of images, graphic creation and
amount of text. Add more pages to your site for $100.00 each, again depending
on complexity.
How can potential customers see my pages in the MSIN? Whether we host your unique web name or your site is housed inside MSIN you will still be linked throughout the Missouri Sportsmen Information Network wherever a link is appropriate. Members are also encouraged to contribute content of interest to our viewers. It is content that will capture our viewers attention and keep them coming back for another visit. Each piece of content like photos, articles, tips, wild game recipes, video, adds a link to your pages in the network. How is the MSIN marketing itself so my page is seen by potential customers? The MSIN is registered with all the major search engines and linked to other sites of interest including national organizations, state information pages and other outdoor recreation related web sites. These are the typical ways of marketing a web page. We are also putting business cards with the web address in all members busineses for them to give out to their customers. We are also planing on advertising in regional sporting magazines, newspapers, radio, and television. The more members we get the more promotion we will have. All members are strongly encouraged to mention mosportsmen.com and there own web site in all their advertising. This creates a snowball effect and gets more viewers for all members. What’s in it for me? The internet is a big ocean, if you want to be seen there it is better to be in a cruise ship with many others than in a row boat by yourself.
